Call it Grassroots Motorsports foie gras. EFS Combust, now called Power Boost by EFS Combust, comes in a neon- green bottle that claims to add horsepower and torque to any vehicle. Frankly, we didn't expect Power Boost to work. We expected it to crash and burn on its promises. We expected our rented Ford Focus to be just as slow at the end of the test as it was at the beginning. But it wasn't. One test, though, is not a verdict. It's just evidence to justify more testing. So we ordered another few bottles of Power Boost and returned to the Superchips Dynojet chassis dynamometer with a slightly more powerful Ford.
