For 2014, however, NASA unleashed a new idea: How about a national championship event for each coast? The East Coast got its event frst, with more than 300 drivers descending upon Road Atlanta for the NASA Championships presented by Toyo Tires. After two days of qualifying, the championship races headlined Sunday's schedule. In early November, just as the SEMA Show draws to a close, the West Coast racers will get their chance to claim hardware at Sonoma Raceway.
