FEATURE: 2015 FORD MUSTANG Grassroots Motorsports 60 First, the biggest news: independent rear suspension. W e before, but previous iterations never made it past limited numbers. The interior materials are a solid improvement over the last close. We'd call the Mustang's interior trimmings about 90 percent as nice as those found in the latest BMW 4-Series. Output is 435 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft. of torque, a 15-horsepower bump and a torque increase of 10 lb.-ft. The Mustang's other performance engine is the turbo- charged 2.3-liter Ecoboost four along with 320 lb.-ft. of torque. (We should add that all of these new engine output fgures are projected.)
