Because the car had been sitting for a while, we felt it would be the perfect candidate for CRC Industries's new 1-Tank Power Renew, a fuel system cleaner. Although the effectiveness of this type of product is tough to measure, after we poured a bottle into the fuel tank, the idle did seem smoother and our forlorn Miata did seem to drive a bit better.
